At least spell the name right

I remember hearing long ago that when being interviewed it is more important that they spell your name right rather than quote you properly; I have to admit, there is some truth to it.

I've been getting interviewed over the past couple of days and I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any traffic from the last paper. Just discovered the reporter put the wrong URL. dumbass

I cover craft beer festivals and there was an issue at one on Saturday. Thanks to the magic of social media (Twitter) I was able to get him to fix it (at least on the online version).

Typos and misspellings SUCK.
When I write for the magazines I do {and have in the past}... I would proofread twice and go over other people's writings, just to be sure the mag didn't have fuck ups...

He put CraftBrewGuy instead of CraftBeerGuy initially; I was wondering why I wasn't seeing any referral traffic then someone posted a link on Facebook from the paper and I saw the problem. Was a matter of following him on Twitter and sending him a message. He was happy to fix it and it was fixed in time for the print deadline.

Yakshemash! {LOL!}
Glad it worked out. I saw the online seemed linking right, so I figured had been fixed.
GREAT that the print version was able to be fixed too! ;-)

I never ever saw much traffic from any magazine plugs of any of my sites.

I had a mainstream site that was listed in numerous magazines, interviewed me blah blah blah and it amounted to sweet fa. FB and all the other social network sites provided real actual traffic.
