:mad My Paxum card was hacked and some bastard is eating pizza on me!

I just checked my balance I couldn't believe what I found!

This is the first time a card of mine was hacked.

I don't know how this is possible, but some bastard is eating pizza and I'm paying the bill!

I've searched on Google DOMINO'S 5551 which is just one thing this person have paid with my fucking card and guess what? It's Domino's Pizza 5551 W Lake St, St Louis Park, MN, United States.

I never left Brazil!!!

Shiiiiiiiiit.

I guess you should call Paxum and ask them to charge back the transactions he's done. Is that possible?

@marlboroack - Yesterday!

I am calling Paxum, I've just opened a ticket to register this!

Even if they charge back I guess they will have to cancel my card and I need the card. I'm guessing I'm gonna have to wait a month to get another card.

I see pending charges so who knows what's coming next!

I'm screwed anyway.

I mean if he's going to use your money he could have at least grabbed some steaks... He insults you twice with this move! Good luck, hope you get it straightened out.

I'm guessing some site I bought or paid for something was hacked, who knows which one.

They have spent almost $150 before I request card cancellation, but I still see most part as pending charges so I don't know what they did with the rest of the money.

Pizza was about $42

I've transfered all my money from my Paxum account to my hacked mastercard after talking with Paxum and I spent / cashed out everything as fast as I could to prevent more fraud and to prevent to have my money frozen inside my account until I get a new card.

Paxum told me to call to the places... I'm not gonna do that. They dont care and wont believe anyway. Also I'm not paying $40 for investigation.

I still don't know if they will charge me for this new card.

Actually I'm thinking about working only with sponsors that pay via PayPal.

you should not have to pay a cent to do a chargeback. Paxum should support you if your card has been jacked. Maybe the best thing to do is contact MasterCard straight away so you keep Paxum honest and inline. You can't be charged a fee if your card has been stolen in some way. How can you be penalised?

We can only do so much to prevent t fraud within paxum. We can not prevent a card from being stolen as we do not control where someone uses their card online or in the real world.

As for the charge back fee - yup it sucks and we do t agree with it but it is not a fee paxum has put in place. This is a fee that cones directly from choice bank. The charge back is solely handled by choice bank. If there is any doubt about this fee we welcome you to contact choice back directly.

Paxum disabled the ability of account holders to transfer funds from MC back to checking.

Which would have prevented this!

Ask yourself WHY Paxum has refused to address this issue and has at every turn tried to push it under the rug leaving Paxum account holders with MC's vulnerable to MASSIVE amounts of cc fraud?

Fat Panda,
You seem stuck on this. We have addressed you DIRECTLY a few times about this. Paxum did NOT disable this feature. The way we had card to wallet transfers was disabled by our bank. No other wallet provider is able to do this aswell.

Stop trying to purposely shed negative light on us by lying about us ignoring this and refusing to answer. We have answered you.

The fee of a chargeback investigation is $40 which is not refundable.
The replacement card fee is $18.72.
The express shipping costs $95.

It seems that Paxum is trying to profit from my disgrace...

Never mind Paxum, I quit. I'm just waiting to those last Pending Charges end to cancel my account.

Yeah that's exactly what pisses me off about Paxum ... $40 per chareback, $1 per POS transaction and so on and so on. They just charge so many stupid fees. I get paying some of them, like the yearly cost of the card and even the $.50 for the initial transfer from your wallet to the card but most of their other fees are just total bullshit.

And story is exactly why it is as well. $40 to chargeback a transaction that was obvious fraud? That's just rewarding thieves and reminding us webmasters that we clearly need a better solution than Paxum.
