What video format is the best over all for viewers?
We are in the process of re vamping our members area.
What is the primary video format that all modern computers and mobile devices are able to play / view? I am guessing .mp4 & h.264 ? I encoded a h.264 in Premiere Pro that plays on all devices, such as ipad, iphone, android, WM player, Quicktime, VLC player. Is there any reason to add .wmv, .mov, mpeg any longer? |

I like mp4 but I think it's just a container. So with h.264. Just stay away from the proprietary crap like Microsoft's Silverlight. I just want to choke the people who use that.
