**********, which smart wheel are you digging?

the flykly is kickstarter funded

the copenhagen wheel is vc funded

both are set for shipping by end of the year, this sort of thing is going to make an impact imo. I try to do as much grocery shopping type/errand runs on my fixie that I can, I don't ride for exercise so my trip length or destination is limited, as it is for many others.

this will change that!

It's obvious who has the best marketing division.

What's a Copenhagen wheel cost?

very true. flykly had the advantage with that too, being crowd funded, but they dropped the ball on managing their social network.

the Copenhagen will be under $800.

Wow pretty cool idea...! The Flykly seems to have more features but the copenhagen wheel seems more refined... Great ideas though..!

This has been out for years. Not sure the .1 of people that ride bikes are going to blow it up. Go to China or something.

$1 under.

you can't get a complete ebike with a lithium ion battery, an all-enclosed system, that goes 20mph for 20miles for $800. Besides, my fixie cost me <$200 to slam together, so for <$1000 I get my personal bike tricked out with cutting edge e-power.

this hasn't been out for years. This is leading edge tech, watch the clips.
I'm sure their ecommerce website will be capable of taking orders from China.

No one is ever sure their invention is going to blow anything up other than their checkbook, nevertheless, for people that commute on their bikes more than exercise on them, this product holds promise. I know I'm in.

Any Weeds fans out there?

So was the Copenhagen wheel around before the show? Or did they take the idea from the show? Im guessing it was around and they got a SICK product placement.
