I get accused of being liberal all the time here on these forums and I've very openly supported what Snowden did and the release of the information via the articles by Greenwald.

The problem with this country, is people seem to think that it's not possible to both support and or criticize the same guy. Everyone seems to think you have to be 100% on or 100% off.

I made several topics here on GFY for example criticizing Obama and the NSA spy programs. It's not a partisan issue it's a freedom & rights issue.

The funny thing is, where is John Boehner, Lindsey Graham or The Maverick ect..ect when it comes to the NSA scandles and Snowden? They are right there in tow with Obama..

Umm yea they sit right there in agreement with Obama and all the others that Snowden is a traitor and that warrantless wiretaps are good. That spying on Americans, recording our phone calls is fine and dandy as is doing the same to our allies.

It's quite funny and sad to think that the one actual thing that Republicans could really complain about and get cross the board support for would be about the NSA spying and maybe Drone strikes.

Yet they wont touch it with a 10ft poll because their fingerprints are all over the cookie jar so they wont say a word.

There is no campaign contributions coming from protecting our rights and freedoms, but there sure as hell are from the contractors whom get to build all these facilities, equipment and hire the people. The same could be said for the current militarization of our police forces..
