I spent a good chunk of yesterday trying to amicably deal with some content theft before taking the DMCA route. While I had whois info, I had not received a reply from an email sent to the address listed, and wasn't 100% confident that it was accurate. I eventually took to contacting those programs whose reviews were being ripped looking for some sort of confirmation. Although I was generally told they couldn't do what I was asking, a few took the initiative to find some way to help me regardless.

You guys could have just told me that you couldn't help me and left it at that, but because you went out of your way to do what you could to assist, the matter was handled rather quickly. I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and wanted to make sure you got recognition for taking such excellent care of your affiliates. Thank you.
