California under attack by Russia

Russian bombers fly within 50 miles of California coast

Four Russian strategic bombers triggered U.S. air defense systems while conducting practice bombing runs near Alaska this week, with two of the Tu-95 Bear H aircraft coming within 50 miles of the California coast, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) confirmed Wednesday.

?The last time we saw anything similar was two years ago on the Fourth of July,? Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, a Norad spokesman, told the Free Beacon.

Davis said the latest Bear H incursions began Monday around 4:30 p.m. Pacific time when radar detected the four turbo-prop powered bombers approaching the U.S. air defense zone near the far western Aleutian Islands.

Two U.S. Air Force F-22 jets were scrambled and intercepted the bombers over the Aleutians.

After tracking the bombers as they flew eastward, two of the four Bears turned around and headed west toward the Russian Far East. The bombers are believed to be based at the Russian strategic base near Anadyr, Russia.

Russia increases military flights in Pacific, U.S. general says

http://edition.cnn.com/2014/05/06/wo...rticle_sidebar

Russia has stepped up military activity in the Pacific, including sending long-range bombers on flights off the coast of California and around the island of Guam, as tensions have risen in Ukraine, a top U.S. Air Force general said Monday.

Being as Russia is only about fifty miles from Attu Island, Alaska, pretty much all they had to do is.... Fly an airplane.

I don't even see why they bother.. It's not like their aircraft would ever actually get to the coast in a real war.. It's not like they are using stealth bombers.

If you like aircraft from the 1950s....

Check this out from Wikipedia:

It also remains the only propeller-powered strategic bomber still in operational use today. The propeller-blades, whose tips move faster than the speed of sound, make it one of the noisiest military aircraft on earth.
First launched in 1952, it is expected to serve until 2040. Wow.

Russia is preparing for a REAL war with the U.S. Unlike the bullshit wars we've been fighting in the desert with cave dwellers.

Because the north pole is melting, new trade routes have opened up for the first time in human history. Ships can now go over thru the pole area and save billions on export, mainly from China, going to US and Europe. US is claiming a portion of the the north pole and routes, as well as oil rights to areas we couldn't drill before. Norway is claiming a portion as well.

Russia is claiming the entire north pole and trade routes as Russian and claims it's part of Russia's land plate.

Over 15,000 Russian troops are in north pole right now. US has troops there also, as well as Norway.

I'm assuming those fighters were just a message to the US that they can bomb the coast of California if we go to war.

Russia has the tactical advantage to fight a war in the north pole. America is broke, in debt and can't afford world war III. Putin won't let the north pole go and I think he has a hard on to go to war with the US.

It has the makings of a real world war. 3 countries fighting over new land, new oil rights and trade routes worth billions, if not trillions.

Not many news agencies are covering the story. I guess they are waiting for Russia to make a negative move, so US can "look good" and get American's to get behind this new war, which is purely based on greed.

How many people will die from this war, simply because we need a better price on the crap China makes to sustain our bullshit materialistic lives?

So you think anybody in government wants to stop global warming? Hell no. These trade routes are worth more than human life. The more melting, the more profit can be made from it

And Russia won't be fucking around with little drones dropping bombs on caves. They have the real deal. We've been picking on poor sand cave dwellers for years now, pushing them around because they have no money and no mobile armies.

Russia can and will do serious damage to the US, even if we blow them away.

Tension and troops are building right now and it doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Americans won't know about it until it's too late. If we all knew now, we could stop this war from happening. But the press won't cover it because Big Brother owns the press and we are always the last to know.

Don't spread panic . There will never be big war. No one can win it and no one is stupid or crazy to do it. It was always like that, there was just little pause during 90s. And turboprops work just fine and they are reliable. At the end , they are there to deliver nukes, so it doesn't matter.

Someone mentioned invisible planes. They are not invisible for many years now, and specially after Russians (and Chineese) got their hands on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_F-117A_shootdown (downed with modified old school S-125 Neva). Wars will happen but small one ,like always with idiots doing it for big powers like they are doing just now in Ukraine ,so lets go back to reality:

http://rt.com/news/165880-ukraine-lu...ampaign=chrome

and prepare with more mess In Iraq .

I think it's time to panic now, while we can still get the word out.

15,000 Russian troops are in the north pole now. Not, 'on their way' but are there now.

Norway has troops there also and the US. I don't know the numbers.

The press is spinning the fly by as related to Ukraine and Crimea. Please.

It's war games plain and simple. Huffing and puffing. Sending a message to the US.

Don't need to get the plane right to you just need to get close enough to deliver whatever it's carrying. Can drop out a load of missiles that each have a 1500+ mile range.

Exactly. They are cruise missile carriers.

BTW, there are no stealth bombers. They are "stealth" for the stupid taxpayers only, because even obsolete missile systems from 1961 can target and intercept them. Not even mention the modern ones like S-300 and S-400.

Quote:
Types of target for S-400:
  • Strategic bombers such as the B-1, FB-111 and B-52H
  • Electronic warfare airplanes such as the EF-111A and EA-6
  • Reconnaissance airplanes such as the TR-1
  • Early-warning radar airplanes such as the E-3A and E-2C
  • Fighter airplanes such as the F-15, F-16 and F-22
  • Stealth airplanes such as the B-2 and F-117A
  • Strategic cruise missiles such as the Tomahawk
  • Ballistic missiles (range up to 3500km).

Actually the 2 most aggressive players in this claim are Canada and Russia. Then Norway as far third. With the support of Scandinavian brothers. And only then the US which was pretty quiet compared to those 3.
And it is resources, oil, gas which is primary target while you speak about sailing routes. Everybody could sail with trade cargo through there anyway.

Of a total of 33 main ships and submarines, 15 are being repaired or undergoing upgrades, while another four are at a lesser state of readiness as they conduct tests on recently installed and modernized systems.
