It works if the 'terrorist' is caught red-handed doing it, seen by umpteen people and zero doubt or margin of error, then definitely the world is better off without scum like that. Killing someone like that on the spot has very little difference to cops at the scene of a crime where the perp won't put down their weapon or stop firing and they kill the fucker dead.

Any other circumstance though, they should be taken into custody and given a fair trial at least. But having every suspect exterminated? Not the kind of country I'd want to live in.

They were found guilty in a court of law and sentenced, I have n o problem with that, what I have a problem with it putting known terrorist in jail without a trial and then set free to continue, ir am I missing something here?

They also like to go into really crowded areas in the dozens and just start stabbing people to death. It doesn't always make the news over here. i am not against punishment, i am against glorifying death penalty. especially over political reasons (not the case in your example but in China it happens too).

So you approve of the lack of due process in a drone attack, because they are aimed at terrorist, but for letting them go after they have been caught?

My comparison was that in the US, terrorist don't get a trial, they are imprisoned for undisclosed amounts of time, then released back in the area they came from, free to do it all over again.

And I am not saying the suspected terrorists had, or did not have, a trial. I am simply saying that I question the government's "official story". I do not automatically accept it as 100% truthful since there are no independent news agencies in China. Absent independent corroboration, I am skeptical.
