IMHO, that shows a lack of commitment by the cam model/performer -- they are in the wrong business for whatever their reasons are -- from the standpoint of new customer conversions. Personally I too find it irritating ... I could cite the possible reasons for this behavior but in the final analysis -- they have a problem with personally identifiable public exposure -- so why are they even doing this?

However, much to my amazement, we have several models who do just this. These models have been around and seem satisfied with the money they make showing a lot more of themselves in private show for customers paying money and not satisfying free wankers.

So, from the standpoint of new customer conversions -- they are a FAIL. But enough customers with money to spend on private shows must make it worth this type of model hanging around if she is exceptional. Cam site paradox?

And it is a fact most new cam girls try it for some weeks then gone esp. these in us, ca, uk. The regular cam girls who do this for years like a real job it is mostly those in old studios from specific cities in russia, ukraine and romania, lately colombia, where such work it is so normal that 30% of female population tried it at some time.
In fact it is so much easier for a cam site to simply deal with these studios who will care to lights, background training the girls how to behave, hire new ones.

In theory would be better to hire "free" girls directly with no "boss-pimp" so they "get all", but most home cam girls have unrealistic expectations to do lots of money by simply open a cam in dark room while sleeping or doing homework, while ignoring or insulting the few guys in chat if they don't pay money. Some good home girls exist, but mostly are former studio girls who learned in studio well before, then continued to do it at home - still most girls who quit a studio, when at home will work less, because distracted and no shifts or pressure.

So it may look strange but you more likely get nice experience by a cam girl working in a studio and following a staged screenplay, rather than by a true random amateur girl who logins from the wild of her messy home when she wish to do so. After all most girls tell "I love you" or "you are handsome" to people who believe this despite unlikely, so a staged girl in fake bedroom in studio with guidelines what to say, it may look more real than a real nightmarish girls in her bedroom sending you to hell or ignoring since no any boss is there going to kick her from job.
