What the hell is this? Somebody explain it!
And before you say the The Repubs look awkward and ridiculous the Dems look just as ridiculous.
During a Congressional Gold Medal ceremony Tuesday top Democrat and Republican lawmakers joined hands and sung “We Shall Overcome.” The result was one of the most awkward moments ever recorded in politics. Just painful to watch.

Thank you for reminding everyone about the 50th anniversary bipartisan celebration of the landmark day that the Civil Rights Act was signed.
  Did Mitch O'Connell's lips ever move?  Good to see a rare display of unity in Congress (even if it was just a staged photo op). Now let's see them actually accomplish anything together on behalf of the country...   ADG |
