Remember, this is a country where some godman said there was a thousand tons of gold buried under a temple so the "government" launched an excavation project to find it. Needless to say it was a pile of complete crap that they found (elephant crap, i believe) and the press conference to announce that was once of the funniest things I have ever seen - all the press were cracking up.

Dont be daft and bull....... I love India, it's also much more developed than the perception as well as its actually a fascinating country which is pretty peaceful, totally democratic and not oppressive either. However, I am critical of the government being so corrupt and inept.
