Solar eclipse most of North America, near sunset.
Solar activity is surging on the eve of Thursday's solar eclipse. Giant sunspot AR2192 is crackling with M- and X-class solar flares as the Moon approaches the sun for a partial eclipse that will be visible across almost all of North America on Oct. 23rd.
The eclipse will be particularly beautiful in the Central Time Zone where maximum coverage occurs at sunset. Visit http://spaceweather.com for more information. I love shit like this ;) I got the last lunar eclipse I shot on my FB page, i know kinda geeky but oh well!

You can still see this live from the Griffith Observatory.
It's too bright to look at the sun directly, but I was able to see the eclipse by looking through 3 pairs of sunglasses.
