While the WHO scares the populations in places where Ebola has allegedly appeared, it has launched the usual psychological game where it assures the world that it is still possible to halt the ?epidemic?.

That is the hope expressed today by the Deputy Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Bruce Aylward, coordinator of the operational response in the fight against Ebola.

In a press conference, the head of the WHO highlighted two aspects, the situation is serious and will be even worse, so that not only we must not lower our guard but intensify and multiply exponentially every effort. He said that if everything is implemented correctly and promptly, the world will be able to control the epidemic.

Haven't you been to school? Virus is just a simple DNA/RNA chain in a shell. It's not something alive (every live organism has at least one cell). Virus has no cells, it's like a program code.

In high-school they teach the very basics and oversimplify science, it's easier to teach kids that way. People like to put things into tidy categories, yet nature almost never fits into them. Putting things into categories can be useful at times, but we have to remember that the categories are usually artificial and should not get in the way of understanding the diversity out there.

Do viruses eat? Do they grow? Can they give birth? No they can't. That's why they are not live organisms. They just simple chains of nucleic acid molecules. I really don't understand what exactly you are trying to prove here.
