So I read everything I could find, studied what I could, asked what I could and then said fuck it and opened a webcam studio here in mexico city. We went live last thursday with a couple girls. I have a nice space with a little over 1000 square feet (300+ m2) Only have 4 booths right now but room for growth to 20. Gonna start small and build as i learn what I couldn't learnonline and on the phone without actually having the studio live. Open to anything ya got (spam me). Even doubters and haters. Right now I have the girls on MFC and maybe another week or 2 gonna start running splitcam and see how that goes. Lets see what i learn this year and if i am still smiling next year, or next quarter haha.

1. Make sure you install key logger software to monitor the chats,
you will constantly be surprised by the methods people use to cheat you.

2. If they have clients sending them "gifts" you might as well get a %.

3. Keep them in line. Have penalties in place for being late or no shows.

I am a studio boss and the best advice I can give you is that nothing will go as you expect and the biggest problem you will have is: discipline

If you can enforce discipline, without being a slave master, you will do good in this business.

Do not overestimate the intelligence of the girls that will be working for you. Do not overestimate their work ethic and their willingness to change their miserable lives.

Learn how to enforce discipline the rest is a breeze....

MFC can not be effectively split cammed with any other site. Maybe chaturbate but that is really a piece of shit waste of time website. There is nothing you can split MFC with. Privates on MFC empty out the rooms and it can be a 20 token private.

Work MFC alone. Split with other sites that are private based. Avoid token sites if you are a studio boss.

yeah, i think i learned that this week about MFC, making some money but the per minute returns are not meeting my needs.

The dream was about the big stack of cash that was posted..I have no unrealistic beliefs on how easy or hard the business will be, and the models will always be the most dificult part but i have what i believe is a solid policy and a really good recruitment team and system, appears for now that if I have a problem with a model she will be easily replaced

Thanks for your advice and comments. There are not many studios in mexico, I have found 2 legal ones but they are shitty and pay low hourly (mostly just there so the bosses can fuck models) I am paying by percentage. I have a fixed percentage but am looking at a sliding percentage based on revenue generated. Studios are legal in mexico, I am registered ,paying taxes, etc. I have good security, I am in a small complex of buildings with gafetes required to enter. equipment is verified before and after each shift and before a model can leave. Even though I am running legal, I am in mexico and I am a realist ( I have a bribe fund haha)

wow, I would never do that..I have booths made of curtains to give a more open feeling. (got the idea and concept for peachpalace in las vegas) I am not even using a contract with a required length of employment, which in mexico you can, and sue employees that break the contract. There are tons of bad stories, I did months of research before I opened. I know that its gonna be shit at times but I think that in the economy here and with my business model and knowledge that I can see a nice return. Time will tell, and the start up costs weren't very much. I am at like 10 grand for equipment and remodel, with an overhead of just under 2 grand. I can walk away from it and it wouldnt put me on the street. I am giving it 3 months to be profitable. Hoping to see a profit in less, ofcourse

You gotta be the cool, fun guy...that chicks could make fun of...but at the same time they respect you, and will listen. That's how u get them to stick around.

But chicks like to work from home, so you'll have to get a program up eventually so they could do this from home. There's always gonna be an 'awkwarrrrd' factor if they gotta do this in a work environment.

My attitude with the models is friendly but the boss. I am treating it like any other company but taking into account the type of employees I am looking for.

I am implementing a work from home program this next week. Had a lot of requests (20+) for this. The thing is that I am trying to keep as much control, both for quality and learning, as I can at this point. One of the benefits of the mexican culture and latino culture in general is that most children, especially woman live with there parents until atleast 30 years old. So most of the models that are attracted to this kind of work are not able to work from home and the cost of high speed internet and equipment with the economy here is crazy. I am paying about 300 bucks a month for 10mbps dedicated internet. Waiting for the fiber optic to reach my area, then its like $100 for 100mbps. This makes the studio even more attractive to potential models.

How to solve the issue of models who don't make money... I could tell, register to my cam sites, but it would be false advertising, because the 1% - 99% rule applies to mine sites too. I have no idea who, if the 100 girls I register, will be the 1 who does so much money she can't believe it. Rest 99 will have hard time. I give u props for having the ballz to start one up on your own and without much experience.

I push my luck relying on live cam affiliate programs everyday....never knowing if their jippin us or not. Maybe one day you'll be big enough so we could promote you.

honestly though....if there's an idea for affiliate program managers out there....give us 100% friggin control over our signups....to know we're not being jipped...and then that particular affiliate program would probably be the most popular one out there.

Because.....there's ALWAYS that small amount of not knowing the truth....paranoia or whatever....in the back of every webmaster's head.
