"Primary part" might be a bit overstatement as they don't start installing warheads when enemy's missiles are on the way.

We had about a week or so warning as it slowly came up the coast. Guy in charge of getting everything ready sends people up the road (6 hour round trip) to get supplies about 4 hours before it was due to hit. Military Intelligence is an oxymoron more often than they like to admit. just my
