As much as Balotelli brings a lot of the shittyness on himself, I can't help but feel if it was some other black footballer, this wouldn't be as big of a deal as it is today.

more to do with his fame/infamy than his skin colour, imo. suarez is another that would be annihilated for it, joey barton is yet another. gerrard, or lampard for example would cop a load a shit for it, but on a different level, whereas john terry would be in the first group.

Also agree with scott.... balotelli is hardly the shiniest button in the box, the man can't even put on a training bib without help ffs lol (yes really for those who haven't seen it... video below!).
