Cops look like they identified him drove up on him fast to arrest him but he drew a gun on them as they approached, what are they supposed to do when they see that exactly?

Parenting and common sense needs to fall into play at some point. It is sad that a 12 year old was killed due to his bad decisions. I'm sure the LEO made the right decision at that exact moment. I'm also sure that same LEO has regretted this a thousand times.
