Best host for Wordpress VPS?
I have a non adult funnies site that is getting about 10k per day visitors. Time to move it to a managed Wordpress host I think. I can feel this shared crap now starting to strain at points during the day or high congestion times.
Managed VPS. I don't want to do any web server level stuff, ever. Anyone got any Wordpress installs in the 30k-50k users per day range on a managed Wordpress VPS? Thanks in advance. E |

I've used http://www.LiquidWeb.com for many years. Pricier than some others but 24/7 Email/Phone support and they own their own data centers so no middleman should issues arise. I hear KnownHost.com & ServInt.net come up quite a bit as being decent but never personally used them so can't vouch for them. Wasn't happy with WiredTree's uptime many years ago when I put a clients wordpress site on it, maybe they have improved since then but I won't be giving them a second chance.

KnownSRV is pretty good for that purpose. For $29.95 per month you can get a VPS with a dual core processor 2x 3.3 GHz. I think it could handle 30k daily visits easily. Are you using any caching plugins?

These guys ONLY do managed. I've had servers with them since 2003. I seriously doubt it you'll find a more competent host, for those prices.
