umm did you watch it? They were tearing apart a report by Fox News whom claimed there was no go zones in Paris.. They showed that Fox news was just making up bullshit just as they always do. They went to the so called "Fox News No Go zones" and interviewed people..

Fox News has a long track record of getting "fake expert" guests whom lie and tell all kinds of bullshit stories that Fox News directors want push for their right wing scare tactic agenda. This is yet another clear example of that very situation. Fox News is no different that watching Jerry Springer, but of fake bullshit and lies..

The sad part is not that Fox News does this, the sad part is they have been outed on this very thing several times of manufacturing fake news for views, yet morons still watch it and believe everything they hear. Some of those morons are right here on GFY..

And Birmingham is a Muslim-only city in the UK

The neighborhoods they outlined on Fox are in central Paris. You can argue every broadcast news organization gets it wrong occasionally but don't be ridiculous.

The Institute for Policy Studies has noted that "Gatestone institute was founded in 2011 by Nina Rosenwald, an heiress of the Sears Roebuck empire who has been a key philanthropic backer of anti-Muslim groups and individuals in the United States".

You don't have to be MSNBC to laugh at Birmingham in the UK or central Paris neighborhoods being called no-go Muslim only areas

Maybe Pornmasta can confirm but I think these guys draw comedy from the news something like The Daily Show.

Also the claim is so ridiculous that for those guys who live there it would be absurd to seriously report on it

of course, it's completely derivative in addition to being hypocritical and wrong.

at least with stewart he has a team of 100+ writers coming up with some decent material. this is pretty blechy.

what claim? it was an eyewitness account shown during an opinion show. the guy said he went there and described that. it wasn't presented as fact during a newscast, it was presented as anecdotal opinion during an op-ed piece.

In the Journalist's own words :

"Unfortunately there was a map that accompanied my interviews, which implied the areas I was describing were in neighborhoods like Montmartre. That is, of course, ridiculous. I didn't make the map, had nothing to do with it, and didn't know it was on the screen with me."

Foxnews made the map. In any case, first their terrorist expert who admits he had only read about Birmingham and forgot to fact check, now this guy... they need to pick their "experts" better.

it's for entertainment, it's not an actual newscast. the guy described what he saw and experienced in an eyewitness narrative. certainly it's biased, all opinions and views are. ANd certainly it's baised in the way fox prefers and that's why he's a guest on that show.

but taking an op-ed show like elizabeth's and pitching it as an actual news source that skews the facts is pretty funny. Let's not take it any more seriously than the piece it is lampooning.

Fox News sells itself as a 24/7 news network and "the most trusted news".

You know, I know, and those guys probably know half of it is "entertainment" but when you make big statements like the most trusted news....

it is the most trusted news..amongst conservatives.

its broadcasting is more balanced than msnbc re: opinions v news reporting

So, it IS Fox news. But how is it cherry-picked? It's all the same segment, with a stupid hateful newscaster letting a stupid guest say stupid things. How can you defend them?

no, it wasn't fox news. fox news is fox news, a comedy bit using soundbytes of a fox op-ed show is not FOX news.

there is some areas where i wouldn't personnally go, but what is written on the map is wrong... Basically these no go zones are where you have usually the urban riots and where people are smuggling to live... BUT they need customers too...

Example in your link: "bas rhin", for example it is safe to go there, but there is some places in strasbourg where you have usually these (i don't know what the word) muslim gangsta people...

do you really need that exclamation made to you about the news media?

again, the show they poorly lampooned was an op-ed show, similar to the op-ed shows you watch, or the lib blogs you read, simply the polar opposite. W

and yes, BOTH are for entertainment purposes, why on earth would you take elizabeth hasselbeck's view on anything other than shoes as some sort of fact reporting? any show with opinions and views is to be taken with a grain of salt/entertainment purposes.

let's make up our own minds.

Leave it to Vendildo to find his "facts" from a political "think thank" funded by an anti-Muslim Conservative.

Jesus this guy is fucking full of laughs..

read it again. I stated the bit is a satire OF fox news. again, the satirical bit in the OP is a satire of news, using soundbytes from a commentary show to try and make it satire.

is that clear enough?

i mean really.

you anti-foxers prolly add $250 million a year in ad dollars to fox news coffers.

Just because the video is of a comedy show, doesn't mean Fox News didn't say what they said. Are you saying Fox News in that video did not try to say there were no go zones?

Right here it is right from the horses mouth..

French 'no-go zones' in question after Paris terror attacks | On Air Videos | Fox News

You can't claim it is a comedy show at fault..

of course not. I couldn't have been more clear re: what I am saying.

I never said it's a comedy, dang, read it again. I said it's a commentary bit that is not to be taken as factual news telling. she asked the guy about visiting no go zones and he described his experience visiting what he called no go zones.

So, hopefully 3rd time's charm and that's cleared up, moving on to your next point, yes, he and that survivor runner-up chat show dingbat both referred to no go zones.

OK. now this is the first time I've heard of them, but googling it, it appears the phrase *no go* originated and has been used without support since 1996. I'm not going to claim I understand it now but my point is according to google, it's not just some talk show host interviewing a no name dude using the term.

There is no where in the UK I would not go but in the US I was told not to go into certain areas of LA NY and Washington, and people refused to take me.

The Muslim area of Whitechapel is very popular with Brick lane being a tourist attraction, arty markets, and great Indian food. Very hip. Used to be the Jewish quarter and before that refugees from France...

Whether the no go areas in the US are just irrational fear or not I have no way of telling.

When I was in LA I spent a lot of time walking around at night and found people to be friendly and interested. The hotel staff thought I was mad.

Watching Fox try to discuss anything is like watching a newborn deer trying to walk. They're much better at making old people scared of everything.

So many news commentators like to distort the truth.

For all you nay sayers, whom called this was BS..

Fox News for the first time ever (I think) actually corrected their selves and apologized for their bullshit claims of No go zones..

Fox Formally Apologizes for Claiming Muslims Have Taken Over European Cities | Mediaite

Over the course of this last week we have made some regrettable errors on air regarding the Muslim population in Europe – particularly with regard to England and France,” anchor Julie Banderas said during tonight’s newscast. “This applies especially to discussions of so-called ‘No Go Zones’ areas where non-Muslims allegedly aren’t allowed in and police supposedly won’t go.”

It only took most of the French media calling them out as well as the Prime Minister of Great Britain, to get them to admit they were full of shit..

I bet they don't replay that I'm sorry over and over again like they rebroadcast their bullshit about the no go zones..
