The NFL requires players to speak to the media at certain times during the week and then after the game. Lynch is notorious for no wanting to do this. He recently had a few run is with the league where he didn't talk to the media and ended up getting fined about $100,000. Today was media day for the Super Bowl. Had he not shown up he would have been heavily fined. So apparently he decided to show up and do this.
