If you use Elevated X, try WebsiteSecure's join page seal free for 90 days
If you're not familiar with Website Secure it's pretty cool.
Website Secure trust seal is visual symbol of ethical commerce that immediately conveys the fact that the site displaying it can be used by consumers with greater confidence, because the site has been independently inspected and its join process has been impartially audited. A lot of big brands use it and some users have reported better conversion rates. Since they're offering a free 90 day trial I'm suggesting that my customers A/B split-test a join page with the seal with one without to see if it betters their sales. The trial offer includes one free site inspection per customer without any set-up fees and 90 days of monitoring included for any one site owned by an Elevated X client. It's no risk so it's a no-brainer and I've heard a lot of positive feedback. To take advantage of the offer, enter ElevatedX in the ref code field when you sign up. If you decide to use it please email me and tell me about the results! AJ

WebsiteSecure.org seals are used in adult and mainstream by many major brands, with nearly 2 billion join page impressions to date. Some of our clients opt in to have their seals visible on major review sites while others choose not to be as open about their business decisions. If you check join pages and review sites it becomes fairly easy to find out. If you have any specific questions feel free to contact me via Skype or email and I'll do my best to assist you.

Thank you for the courteous reply. However, it makes no sense that sites would want to obfuscate the use of your product. I'd like to know who is using your "seal" so we can compare your product versus their reality. Nothing tricky. Just simple analysis.
To be secretive suggests complicity in nefarious affairs since the seal is supposed to benefit the public and not only the site. I would think you would wish to promote clients who use the service which would help to give evidence of the worth of the seal. I like the idea of consumer protection. Thank you fine, sire. |

Personally I'd love it if every user of my product wanted to shout their use of it from the rooftops... but it isn't my place to do that for them (and frankly, GFY is about the last place I would expect anyone to do that sort of thing these days). You won't find a large mainstream insurance company posting on GFY that they are using WebsiteSecure.org trust seals. You also will find a fair number of site owners unwilling to share something they feel gives them a competitive advantage. Usually the only 'downside' of using the seals is a tiny monitoring fee that works out to less than the value of one join per month for most clients, so the barrier to entry is practically nonexistent. Now, thanks to AJ and Elevated X, his clients can try the seal for 90 days on their site for absolutely ZERO cost. That means you can add it to your site with 2 simple lines of HTML code in a matter of less than 3 minutes from start to finish and you can multivariate test it against a variety of other pages in your inventory to see how it performs. As an upside, many clients benefit from our site audit and test joins because we often find accidental mistakes that can be corrected to the benefit of everyone involved. Also, I obviously do not have direct access to the backend stats of my clients, but I have been told by many that a 3-5% increase in conversions from submit page to payment page is about what you should expect on existing traffic along with some other very significant benefits (like having your site noted as being certified on the reviews about your site published by several major review sites etc...). The fact that many site owners continue to recur month after month is the simplest and best proof I can give that the seals do in fact have a positive impact on revenue. As I mentioned previously, contact me via Skype or Email and I can show you some ways to identify a few of the major brands using the seals to their benefit. Many are well respected long standing brands you already know, and others are brand new sites seeking to benefit from the halo effect of that association. Doing it for $29.00 per month is a no-brainer already.... doing it now as an Elevated X client for $0.00 cost is the best possible time for serious clients to see if they generate similar results and earn more just by monetizing the fact that their sites are being managed in an ethical manner from the consumer point of view. Ask yourself... if I didn't honestly believe clients earn money by adding the seals, why in the world would I agree to make them available for free for 90 days so people can try them with zero up front cost? Simply put, it's a good product and a great offer. |

It's legit and has been in use a while now. Not going to drop names but think big brands along the lines of Hustler. My reason for pushing this is for pay site owners to see "IF" it makes a difference on their sites. If it doesn't, cancel it and don't pay for it. If it does make a difference it's a small amount of money well spent to increase sales. Good on you for challenging it's cred. ;) AJ

Stuff like SSL cert badges or GoDaddy trust seals is helpful on a join page but it's not the same as a 3rd party audit service where things are actually being monitored and the seal gives someone real peace of mind. It's slowly catching on. There hasn't been a formal test, at least not on my end. Stewart approached me about a year ago to give me a full overview of the WSS service. After keeping an eye on things since then, who is using it e.g. sites like Hustler, Wasteland, NaughtyAmerica etc. and noticing it on more Elevated X CMS customers' join pages, I think it's merit has been proven to where people should at least try it on their sites. The nice thing is it's just a little code snippet so if you decide to remove it, it's easy come easy go. AJ

Unlike other trust seals, WebsiteSecure.org protects consumers from unethical site owners. Other trust seals involve scanning for hacks and malware etc to protect people from third party hackers, but they don't do test joins, terms inspections, site audits and monitoring to make sure customers are getting what they are promised. They also have little experience with things like xsales and seem to not know what to look for when determining what is ethical.
WebsiteSecure.org testing often uncovers accidental errors (you have no idea how many site owners copy a terms page from another site that includes verbiage to their own detriment), we often make suggestions to streamline the join process, have assisted with helping companies to become CANSPAM compliant with their emailing and so on. The great majority of things we find 'wrong' are accidental and can be fixed easily. Having fresh eyes looking over parts of your site that nobody in-house has looked at in months or years can lead to a lot of useful gains and the seal itself adds even more value. Edgeprod, send me one of your sites in mainstream or adult and I'll provide a free inspection for it so you can see exactly what we do. I value your expertise and would love to get your feedback as well. ![]() |
