Well I guess playboy magazine did that (maybe still does) in the fact that it sells not just porn but sells you a lifestyle. It sells you a dream. It mixed (may still do) pics of nude sexy women with articles of cars, watches and so on. In deed in the UK other magazines have sort of done this too.

The lads mags of recent years sold a more working class lifestyle. Maybe this was a mistake as in truth this was for some, something they may already have. Not something they wanted to have. After all as long as you have a decent income you could probably afford one of the cars they wrote about. And the girl next door models you could probably date.

But with porn sites its often just porn your selling.

So should porn sites today offer more?

There is no reason to offer more than just porn. It probably makes sense to have a blog on your site too. This makes going to your site daily worth while. The porn then becomes the up-sell.
