Why do so many sponsors use CCBill's affiliate program and so few use Epoch's?

?
Is there something wrong with Epoch's affiliate software?

ccbill is/was much more popular amongst affiliates = more exposure for the sponsor.

also epoch isn't available to canada, or wasnt last i checked. so that eliminates canadian companies

but yes its mainly because affiliates were more familiar with ccbill

when you use the most popular, its easier for small affiliates to reach minimum payout too and less likely they close up shop

I like Epoch, but for years they really haven't bothered to refine their affiliate program and make it as user friendly as CC Bill. Which is too bad because a lot, and I mean a lot, more webmasters would use it. And so would a lot more affiliates especially with them offering Paypal now. I could be wrong, but I think they use a third party content manager for everything and it's dated and limited in what you can do with it. Might be something they could do in the future, or not.

If im correct CCBill was the first for a number of years. When Epoch finally got noticed most were comfortable with ccbill and just never moved away.

We have seen tooo many good processors vanish for different reasons.

Our plan is that we use ccbill for now, while building customer and affiliate base, add epoch cascading so affiliates are credited, as we continue using ccbills user management etc.
