Yes... they're 5 points clear at the moment, though only 7 games in. They should reach the semi-finals of the CL, at least. No team has successfully defended the Champions League title, it's a different winner every year so the bookmakers take that into account. Not to say it won't happen but the chances are against them. Personally I think Real Madrid are looking very strong, while most other EU teams seemed to have stalled in the last year or two, if anyone has a chance of doing it then Real Madrid are the team.

For me, I think Real Madrid or Chelsea, if they can keep Costa and Fabregas fit.
