I run it on the Android tablets and old phones that are hanging around here. Haven't put it on the G3.

give it whirl, they have an auto installer these days also, the g3 should be on it. cm 12, based off lollipop 5.0 is very nice and buttery with some well thought out feature changes. 12.1 is coming out right now too, based off the new lollipop update.

I have an old HP Touchpad. It came running WebOS and now runs CM12, quite nicely.

It's 3 years old and wasn't meant to run Android. Thanks Cyanogen!

Been using it for years. My biggest complaint is that they've gotten really slow with new releases. I've been waiting months for a CM12 snapshot to get released.

they're late - still waiting for the update

and i am not very adventurous when it comes to installing things that don't come automatically

i wanted to install CM to my "old" Samsung Note 10.1 but i gave up, i am too confused by bootloaders, custom roms, whatever else is needed..

it's certainly a risky proposition. makes the 50 million users # even more significant.

that note 10.1 may be on the autoinstaller, if you haven't checked.

cyanogen deserves much credit, they've turned a custom ROM that begain in a thread at XDA into a company valued at ~$1 billions.

i hope they make it.
