Fashion/style gurus - question regarding leather shoes and polyester suits

I always buy 100% wool fabric for my tailor made suits. However they tend to wrinkle (although some articles claim that wool suits are not THAT wrinkly, I wonder what is then... besides linen of course).
I am considering poly/wool blend for this reason. Should I go that route? I would not save anything that way (literally only 3 euros cheaper for the whole 3 meters) and I would have "cheap" suit.

Another thing - I bought shoes with leather sole and got a printed "warning" note from the store that I should use some sole protectors for leather soles, otherwise they will get worn out fast. What is the point of leather sole if you add some "protector"? Why not go with the rubber sole from the beginning?

If you are power dressing and wearing expensive shoes the last thing you want to do is cross your legs and have the people you are sitting with see you are trying to save a few bucks by wearing sole protectors.

Just get them resoled on a regular basis not letting them wear thru to far so you look like a bum.

That is what I was thinking. But when I got that note with my shoe purchase I thought WTF, was I doing it wrong?
I mean what is the point of leather soles if you have to use some protector to save/hide it?

This is where I get most of my suits.

Kostymer - se alla designerkostymer online på Tiger of Sweden

They're only $600-700 a pop and easily look like they could be priced in the $1500-2000 range. Similar in quality to something made by maybe like Paul Smith or another designer at that level.

For shoes, I always get rubber soles. Like most Manhattanites, I walk a lot and they really are just that much more comfortable. Always Prada since 2001. These are boots but here's an example of the typical sole.

Prada Rubber-Sole Chelsea Boot, Black

I never bother to get them resoled because I've heard that it's difficult to find a cobbler who can resole them properly with the red stripe. Oh well. I've gotten much better about wearing them less often than I did from 2001-2010 when I wore them pretty much every day. So now at least they last longer than they did back then.

As far as your questions about the fashion rules for leather sole protectors or poly blend suits or whatever, I really have no clue. Seems like some stupid shit to be worrying about. I prefer to just buy nice things from brands I trust because I really can't be bothered to spend time thinking about such nonsense.

Have luck!

Nah, no fashion rules. Mostly I wanted to hear from those who wear poly/wool blend suits - would I get that non wrinkle effect. And also wouldn't it be too hot (as you know poly does not breath, but poly/wool blend maybe does?)?
And also it is just strange to do tailor made from poly.. Just sounds like a waste of good suit since it does not cost any less and is not as "real suit" as it would be from wool.
But I am ready to sacrifice it for not wrinkling.

Why would you care (and probably pay extra) for that red stripe when resoling? Seems pretty strange reason to not resole (if shoes are still good).
