Well, the scumbag contacted me after some great digging by Harmon and the rest of GFY'ers who found out where he was hiding and contacting his friends/family on facebook to spread the word about this scumbag scamming ways

He sent me an Paypal E-Check which cleared and then out of no where, Paypal contacted me saying that there was a "Bank Reversal' dispute from Scriptworkz for the $XXXX refund he sent me.

Paypal stated:
The transaction may be covered by PayPal Seller Protection if it is marked as eligible on the Transaction Details page and you provide us with an online tracking number or proof of shipment.

We'll accept any documentation that shows the shipping date, the shipping address, and official acceptance (like a postmark or receipt) from the shipping company. Proof of delivery is an acceptable alternative to proof of shipment.

I have never had a "Bank Reversal" dispute before. There is no way I can provide shipping info as it was a refund. And here's the kicker, I tried to file a dispute on the initial transaction but was denied by Paypal because it was deemed "virtual goods". This refund would fall under the same category would it not since it's a refund for a "virtual goods".

Any advice here? This Brandon Kagey scumbag is like a zit that just won't go away.

You got Paypaled; sorry. They suck, I had the same thing happen to me 10 years ago so I dropped them. If you insist on keeping your account, don't leave ANY money in it.

You're fucked dude. Next time make the transaction for a fucking jump drive and then when it shows up empty with some Bieber songs on it? Let PayPal know it was defective. Step on it, run it over. Take pictures. Then you will win.

PayPal is shit when it comes to virtual goods. Chalk it up for a lesson learned.

That crack head fuck will most likely get what's coming to him in the long run. Karma is a bitch that you shouldn't fuck with. If he's that hard up for cash? It's only a matter of time until the cops show up, the city shows up to foreclose, somebody he owes money to for drugs shows up with a Louisville Slugger.. the list goes on.

You could always drop a dime to his local PD and say that he is scamming people online if you want to be a total dick. I would. At least let him get a visit, because they will.

Don't let the PayPal haters sink your boat. If you owned PayPal, how would you handle downloads, scripts and shit of that nature? It's impossible. It's all a trust issue between buyer and seller.

Yep, he promised to start making payments to me and then disappeared once again, but I fully expected it. Swore up and down he didn't remember, then came up with a story about his ex fucking him over years ago.

Did you ever figure out his home address?

That sucks man, PayPal is the worst. I ONLY use them for sending money and keep $0 in my account. And on those rare occasions I get money PayPal'd TO me I get it out of the PayPal account ASAP. Same day if possible. Seriously, leave $0 in there.

Anyway that sucks man and good luck. But I would try and move on at this point, if possible.
