My Social Media Bounce Rates

These are figures from my google analytics page for one of my blogs that is amateur themed.

The top 5 have had at least over 50,000 hits over a 4 month period:

1- Twitter 21%
2- Blogger 30% - (traffic declining daily since they no longer accept adult the way they used to)
3- Tumblr 45 %
4- Facebook 55% (traffic from older links and declining quickly here as well)
5- Reddit 71 %

Vastly different results all going to the same content.

These next social media site results are based on only a few thousands hits or less over a 4 month period. They are the result of small or no effort on my part.

1- Pinterest 9 % (Didn't post any links myself initially, but when I did they banned me fast. That was a few years ago and they are even more strict now)
2- Dailymotion 30% (they were doing alright and sending regular traffic until they decided - after years - that my very very softcore nudity vids were against their TOS, and so most of them were taken down)
3- Stumbleupon 65 %
4 -Delicious 90%


First we all relied on google, and they slowly squeezed us (adult and affiliates) out of the picture.

Then we went Social and they too are now slowly, one by one, cutting adult off.

I hope Twitter doesn't follow suit.

I'm hanging in there but soon it'll be time to go mainstream since the return on effort has steadily been decreasing in adult.

Just wanted to share and possibly stimulate discussion.
