A question for republicans

So, there are 18 or so people running for the republican nomination, and Fox News is hosting the first debate but limiting it to 10 people, based on national polling numbers.

This is an obvious cash-grab for Fox because to get your polling numbers up, you have to advertise.

Many of the republican presidential hopefuls won't make it on to the big shoe, and many are pissed at Fox for doing this.

So why not simply boycott this event? What if Jeb Bush and the whole crew just said "Fuck it, we're not going"? Would that really change anything? I think statistically those who polled high early never won anyway. Is the big Fox News debate really worth anything to them at all, especially considering how fucked up it all is?

Even 10 people debating is to much.

Not go and risk being ignored or attacked by FOX for the next year? They are all zombies for the media and would knife their moms to be in front of the camera.

Fox should limit it to 3 at a time.

An early debate like this can mean a lot to a candidate that is still unknown. It can put you on the national stage and get your name out there if you do well. That said, a debate with 10 people is going to mean very little speaking time for anyone. One with 18 people will mean even less time.

They have them all and have three nights of debates with 6 people in each debate. Just draw names to see who gets on which night.
