Manchester Parks ... help!
I'm looking for a nice park close the city centre of Manchester. I know of Heaton Park but it's a little out of the way... are there any parks a little closer to the city centre? I'm talking about the Dale Street / Lever Street / Newton Street area.
It's a long shot, but worth a try. Thanks.  |

Define 'nice' ;)
Nice to buy drugs? Nice to find a whore? Nice to walk through without looking over your shoulder? Big park or small? A place with grass a trees and not much else or something with sports fields, lakes etc? There's whitworth park, platt fields, chorlton park, 'the meadows' (alongside the mersey) etc. |

Some of the nicest parks are often overlooked. Cemeteries.
