The Assault On Donald Trump Shows That The "2 Party System" Is Really A "1 Party System"
![]() Were you sickened by the Republican debate the other night? The hype leading up to the debate was unbelievable. Never before had there been so much interest in a debate this early in an election season, and it turned out to be the most watched program on Fox News ever. A record-shattering 24 million Americans tuned in, and what they witnessed was an expertly orchestrated assault on Donald Trump. From the very first moments, every question that was launched at Trump was an ?attack question?. And then the laughable ?focus group? that followed was specifically designed to show that ?ordinary people? were ?changing their minds? about Trump. By the end of the evening, it was abundantly clear that Fox News had purposely intended to try to destroy Trump?s candidacy. And of course Fox News is far from alone. Every mainstream news outlet in the entire country is running anti-Trump news stories every single day. Virtually every other presidential candidate in both parties is attacking him, and virtually every ?political expert? from across the political spectrum is trashing his chances of success. So why is this happening? Normally, candidates that are not part of the ?establishment? do not pose much of a threat. In order to win elections in this country, especially on a national level, you need name recognition and you need lots and lots of money. Donald Trump has both, and no matter what you may think of him you have to admit that he has star power. And he was never supposed to run for president. You see, the truth is that only members of ?the club? are allowed to play. The elite very carefully groom their candidates, and they are usually able to maintain a very tight grip on both major political parties. This two-headed abomination that we call a ?two party system? is in reality just a one party system. Yes, many Democrats and many Republicans really do hate one another, but at the end of the day there is very little difference between the two parties. That is why nothing ever really seems to change no matter who gets elected. George W. Bush continued almost all of Bill Clinton?s policies, and Barack Obama has continued almost all of George W. Bush?s policies. When they are running for office, they tell us what they think we want to hear, but once they get to D.C. they do exactly what the establishment wants them to do. Donald Trump, whether you love him or you hate him, is a threat to this system. He is not controlled by the elite, and he does and says all sorts of things that drive the elite absolutely nuts. If he was polling below 5 percent that wouldn?t be a problem. At first, the mainstream media attempted to portray him as a joke that would never get any real support. But since then, Trump has proven that he is a serious candidate with some very serious ideas about how to fix this country. Now that he is receiving far, far more support than the establishment choice (Jeb Bush), he must be destroyed. I wonder if Trump had said that Chris Wallace was an asshole if he would be accused of being part of the "War On Men"?
Apparently if you say ANYTHING about anyone except another white guy...you are anti-woman or a racist. |

I would be more worried about the "2 party system is really a 2 party system", as that is quite undisputed, just like Kim Jong-un.

If you want change, you have to vote for it.
In the EU many countries are getting pissed off with the growing power of the centralist bureaucrats. So we see a rise of anti EU parties. And no matter how much mud is slung about them being racist, far right, they're gaining ground. This was the share of votes earier this year. Party % CON 36.9 LAB 30.4 UKIP 12.6 LD 7.9 SNP 4.7 GRN 3.8 UKIP were hardly a political party a little while ago, next time they may do better. We will get a referendum on EU membership. We the people are forcing the change. All it needs is the people to vote for the best candidate for their interests. And ignore the propaganda of vote for me and I will make it all better. |

UK has the same sucky voting system, but it works much better in UK. Though it would be best to abandon that system altogether. You can see that the list using that system is not very flattering ("third world countries" those have been more or less under UK influence.. and US and Canada). " Anguilla Antigua and Barbuda Azerbaijan Bahamas Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Botswana Canada Cook Islands Dominica Ethiopia Gambia Ghana Grenada Isle Of Man India Jamaica Kenya Liberia Madagascar Malawi Malaysia Maldives Micronesia Myanmar Nigeria Pakistan Palau Saint Kitts and Nevis Saint Lucia Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Sierra Leone Singapore Solomon Islands Swaziland Tanzania Tonga Trinidad and Tobago Uganda United Kingdom United States British Virgin Islands Yemen Zambia Zimbabwe" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-...he-post_voting |

this is happening everywhere.
Here in holland a guy who didn't have a corrupt politic background started to become very, very popular because he spoke the truth. The people loved him, the politicians hated him. Everytime the politicians got a chance to talk about their own policies, they attacked him instead. The media attacked him. But whatever the politicians tried, they couldn't stop him from growing even more popular, to the point that it looked like he even had a chance at becoming the next prime minister. Then he got shot in the head, killed. Democracy? Not so much. |

Say what you will about him, Trump's got balls. Sanders too. In the unlikely event that either of those guys wins their party's nomination the establishment will be having kittens.

EDIT: Nevermind, I googled it already. Anyways, he had party and there are similar followers, at least according to Wikipedia. Political goals, etc. are usually more than a one man. You can still vote the others. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pim_Fo...litical_career |

The numbers get skewed by the media to discredit. In our presidential elections, we had a guy named Kukiz that they were saying in the polls will get 4-5% or so, and he ended up getting 20.8% and almost getting into the second round of voting (which happens if neither candidate gets >50%).

Why would anyone call it a "one party system". The one party you are talking about seems to be unable to claim the White House. And Trump seems to be about ready to ensure this "one party" doesn't get the White House.

![]() If you only see the center overlap you are either not a USA national (looking from the outside in) or a disgruntled US voter. There are actual differences in policy platforms. However the ''management policies'' of the party's mechanisms are of a similar vein. The United States is not governed by a Parliament and by the parties' tickets. The Framers (of the constitution) set up the Electoral College to ensure that radical political demagogues ( like an Adolf Hitler) would not rise to power with a minority vote split between 4 parties like has happened in Europe (and globally) in the past. The Republican Party was a third political party that with Lincoln's assent to the presidency pushed the Whig party aside and then over the cliff. Proof that a new party could become a reality. |

I really wish you guys would stop with the non sense. Donald Trump isn't getting hammered from all sides because he is some hero of the people and against the man. He's getting hammered because he acts like a asshole and loves to flaunt his stupidity, end of story.. If someone becomes your hero because he's an asshole and stupid, then it really says a lot about you..
You guys love to dream up your little romance stories though, I'll give you that.. |
