A Texas woman likely dodged death after stuffing a fully-loaded handgun in her vagina while being pulled over by police on drug charges, authorities said.

Ashley Cecilia Castaneda, 31, was being escorted into a Waco jail late Monday night when police say she confessed about being unconventionally armed below the belt.

Police said a cavity search — carried out by a female officer — retrieved a .22 caliber semi-automatic Smith and Wesson pistol from her unconventional holster.

Along with the weapon, police confiscated digital weighing scales and 29.5 grams of meth found in her purse, they said.

Castaneda's driver, 30-year-old Gabriel Garcia, was additionally charged with possession of meth in a school zone. Police said 2.7 grams were found under the seat of his vehicle.
