:stop Heads up: ZeroHero PayPal reversal

Early August ZeroHero contacted me about doing a PayPal - Paxum transfer for around $100. We completed the transfer successfully, no problems.

Early September he contacted me again about a transfer. We did a transfer on the 1st, the 3rd, and the 10th, all for around $100. Each transfer was completed successfully, no problem.

Yesterday I received a notice from PayPal. The transfers on the 1st, 3rd, and 10th were all being claimed as unauthorized from the buyer. PayPal removed that money from my account and froze my account.

I spent the afternoon putting together proof that all transfers were made and correspondence. This morning I woke up to notice from PayPal that they are siding in my favor and unfroze my account, plus returned all money.

I have tried contacting ZeroHero about this both yesterday and today with no response. I see that he has visited the board today, so I'm sure he has gotten my message.

An additional note, the "sending" PayPal address that he used was also being used by GFY user "dimitar". It is likely that they are the same person, or at least friends.

Beware of any transactions with either party.

I provided proof that I sent the money and also chat logs. My guess is they also checked IP logs to see if anyone else had logged into his account.

It probably helped that my account is over 10 years old and I have done high six figures through it.

I will only be trading with friends moving forward.

Dimitar is one of his fake nicks, as is NETSEX, PornMakiz, and a few others I can't recall off the top of my head. He tried pulling a scam on me a few years back and contacted me from different emails, all with the same IP address. Just do a search on those usernames and the only time they pop up is talking to each other...

I was shocked to see zerohero posting stats about a gay program. I thought he was a scammer always and I guess he is. Looks like he was just sig flyer and eluded was his program.

Sucks for the owners.

Zerohero tried to market something that would give him access to ftp login a while back. It was programmed by a thief scriptzguy or something. Just do some searches from these guys and read the scam threads.

Above link ties programmer email (scriptguy thief) to chillvault, then to zerohero. I would not be surprised if they are all the same person.

I've done many transfers with Sly. He's top notch and honest. Plus I own a server with him. He's one of the most professional in the biz. /end sucking dick

Honestly, we do these transfers often and it makes me sick that this guy would even do that to him. Sly legit is only trying to help. I know he's given me many deals throughout our business relationship.

Thanks for starting this thread to raise awareness. Sorry this one went sour.

That thread is a goodie for sure... it's like people just don't remember.

I saw zerohero posting about greatest conversion on his gay site, even read a post from bestporn how his site was converting... I couldn't believe what I was reading. I thought zerohero was just a scammer, but turns out, he's still the same scammer but he was bought to fly a sig. Somehow I think the owner forget to tell him not to elude he owned the program. So zerohero used his new found gay site success to convince Sly he was legit. But Sly should know this, surprising how people forget scams.

Well... not everyone reads gfy... I just use the search function and can find things pretty easily.

I did not keep track of him as a scammer, but that is more of my own ignorance.

I am not that shocked though, unfortunately, to see that someone who is whoring out his signature for a few dollars would be just as money hungry on the other end. Trying to scam, cheat and steal whatever he could possibly get his dirty little hands on.

I saw that he was representing that gay affiliate program and thought he was legit. I should have looked into it further, that was my fault, but now everyone knows who this person is. I did not know of the scamming past. He had a very high post count and I did not see anyone following him around, which is usually what happens with the scammers.

Those of us that did point them out repeatedly seemed to stop when it became the norm to leave scammers on the board for the fallacious reason 'then we know who they are'.

Unless there's some sport in it, like Marlboroack recently, I just don't bother.

How much money was exchanged overall?

The thing I hate about these kinds of situations is you burn up well over whatever commissions you made in your time, well over sometimes even more than gross revenue for a service.

nice to see his account is banned

ZeroHero is a scamming fucker, he's been pointed out many times before but nobody did a thing until this most recent event.

I hope you win out Sly.

There are good reasons Paypal tell you not to use the service for currency exchanges and this is one of them.
