Seems like a lot of work to make $1.
I bought a bunch of shit on eBay recently for the holidays. The packages are starting to arrive, and a lot of them are directly from Amazon. I got curious so I looked up the items, lo and behold, Amazon had them for $1 less. I used the "Buy it now" and free shipping on eBay. So the person placed the item on eBay for $1 less than Amazon, then purchased it directly from Amazon to fulfill? Seems like a lot of work to make $1.

Amazon has fulfillment services for sellers so the ebay seller and the amazon seller might be the same.. I mark up my ebay listings higher than I sell elsewhere as well because their fees are ridiculous. I personally don't see how anyone put's up with selling any small $ items on ebay. I don't even bother listing anything that doesn't profit at least a few hundred. Imagine those sellers not even using a fulfillment service..

plenty of people do this arbitrage crap. 1000's of transactions @ $1 profit is still a fair bit of $ as long as it's optimized.
