As I see the main problem that on the first places average and bad models, not the best. And it affects the conversion rate.

Importance of the first places is not too much for whitelabels. But for registration links and anything "best converting room" related the quality of the first places is the main thing.

Problem with first place cheaters switched to the new level in January. Cheaters were always on CB and support tries to fight with them. But so many cheaters on the first places I didn't see 1.5 or 2 years.

If some model uses a lot of fake viewers where for the "first place sticking" and it affect traffic conversion. Where I have to report? [email protected] or [email protected]

Mila_ and Livecleo are using the same technics - a lot of fake viewers + banners with own referral links over main CB links. And this is the first 2 places now with almost 80% of displaying in rotation of almost cb codes :(

But after all her posts I'm sure that she uses fake viewers and knows everyone else who use it also (for the "first place sticking")

This is a huge customer quality issue for Chaturbate and they should be coming down on it with an iron fist.

The rooms being displayed as top rooms ARE NOT in any way Chaturbate's stars or real money makers, they are just broadcasters who are shamelessly gaming the system.

I was just inserting a cam embed and low and behold it is mykinkydope being shown as embed top chat room. Sometimes the top embed is just an empty room that is only there due to bots.

I firmly believe that there has to be technical barriers to prevent the botting and affiliate theft by performers. If there is a hole it will be exploited and even rationalized as acceptable. Reading the posts over at ambercutie has had my head spinning...

Chaturbate is dying a slow death. Every day well converting rooms are getting pushed out of sight by bot boosted rooms. You don't see it upon first sight but when you open the rooms and stay in them for a while, the number of rooms where the girls are mostly occupid with their phones and not caring one bit about any kind of interaction is staggering. And they don't have to, they have their bot users keeping them on the front page and they will make their 500 to 1,000 tokens per day, which is probably enough for them but way too less for the exposure that they get and of course these rooms are impossible to market.

Good rooms pushed out not only by bot promoted rooms, but also using some bot denoting technics.
CB has basic anticheat system and this system can be used for pushing out good models from the first lines.
If some stupid bots come to the room (as example 300-500 fake viewers from the same ip, or from the server only network like ovh) room receive some kind of "shadow ban" / "blackmark". And after that room can not have more than specified amount of viewers (disconnect from chat of random users).
And this denoting is used a lot last few months.

So cb cheater-models cheat everyone: cb, other models and webmasters.

I have also requested a feature for affiliates to ban / blacklist performers for these reasons. After all they can ban whitelabels from their settings.

Can anyone tell me how one becomes a room moderator?

What connections/relationships are there between mods and chaturbate?

It is not explained anywhere in the performer agreement what promotional tools cb gives webmasters. We have an option "appear on networks sites" in our privacy settings, default setting is "yes". That's it. Now you have girls "I wanna make 100 dollars for a holiday", studio girls, girls with no English knowledge etc. The result is a mess of course.

DMCA's can be sent, because it is not always easy to differentiate between cb affiliates and pirate sites, you would have to look into the source of the website. Too complicated for many girls, studio managers, dmca companies etc. Also when a girl changes the setting to "No" after having broadcasted for a while with "yes" the promo pictures, videos etc. do not disappear, cb does not send a "signal", that performer xy has now opted out.
Search machines are basically full of pirate sites, three big piracy networks are in the center of it, one webmaster of these, securom, is even a member here.

They are normal users. A performer can click on the name of any user and make him moderator. Mostly they are regulars of the girls or they are from "I wanna help a girl" (in order to get a free show) gang, that go from room to room of new girls.

Hard to understand how things like this can go unnoticed. All it would take is one guy from cb support, who just clicks through rooms on the front page and gives these rooms AND the list of users in the room a sanity check. I will just guess that this room is a front page room too. A girl with 10 viewers will hardly do these things.
CB is a big, big site but it seems to run on auto pilot mostly. It's like leaving the room to your house open and just put a sign in front of it "Please don't rob me". But right now they are getting robbed and webmasters and the majority of performers too for the personal gain of some persons or studios.

Mila_ and Livecleo slightly moved their banners but it still over the main header links. And all these banner moved exactly to the same position (pixel by pixel). so I think pages of both models are edited by one person. And two these cheaters work together.

I think CB has some kind of white list of the models who can do anything on the site and they will not get any warnings or bans. I don't know maybe its some personal relations with EU CB support... But situation is really strange right now, especially how CB bans other models - ban first practice.

I think we deserve at least a word from Steve...

No need to go into the source code surely models can see the difference between a live feed (promo tool) and a recorded show posted on a tube (dmca risk).
Besides, as discussed here, models are also affiliates nowadays, they know how things work. So once more this illustrates one of the numerous conflicts of interests, killing the competition by any means. Some will think "yes so what" until it happens to them ofc.

As per the pirates it should be easy to trace them back with their affiliate IDs but that would require work...

You overestimate the knowledge of the group "models". "Models" are a wild mix of complete amateurs camming with their built in webcam to make a few bucks extra, girls put there by studios, girls with barely any English knowledge and combinations of it. The number of girls who REALLY know about all of these things is very likely very, very small.

Mila_ Realtoxxxmaria Mykinkydope is half of the first 6 places that used in rotation inside the top room codes. So more than 80% of shows is cheating rooms :(

Mykinkydope finished her three hour run on the top spot (embedded on many affiliate sites). The top room before here finished their broadcast with the incredible amount of around 2,500 tokens earned. The TOP rooms of chaturbate that get heavily marketed.

That can't work, it's bad for the existing users (they barely spend money in these rooms), it's bad to win new sign ups and it's bad for the better converting performers.

Chaturbate has been hijacked by a bunch of performers and studios, who have put new girls on the site every day and continue to do so. Who wouldn't?
