Got a new paying customer I signed up last year and just started paying a good amount. So things looking better for me atm. :)

heiko0o 03-11-2020 11:18 AM

Not looking good for me, i usually do a payout every 30 days to my Bank account and these last 30 days (if it continues like that until the 15th of March) seem to be the worst i had in terms of revenue for chaturbate.

carlAce 03-11-2020 02:20 PM

I thought I was just unlucky but doesn't seem to be the case.

80% of my traffic is Organic, I did have some drops here and there due to the Google algoritham going crazy but nothing that huge for the conversions to drop so much.

https://prnt.sc/reyvup

Ever since aprox Novemeber, I am just seeing less and less conversions, had one small whale but all of a sudden he just stopped, nothing since then.

Chaturbate was my no.1 converter, it dropped to second place since December, if the trend continues with the current 3rd best, Chaturbate could fall to 3rd place.

TheBlackShark 03-11-2020 02:22 PM

Spenders seems are gone in the last periods.. -60% in revenue.

PornGrowsOnTrees 03-11-2020 02:48 PM

Sales was down..... now it's back and doing great. in 4 days made up for those low days. ;-)

General trend isnt that bad, it could be worse due to CoronaVirus. People might stay more tat home, but less money entering.

It is sad but it is nothing new, it happens to sponsors after time. Just test others and you might get better results.

Does pornhub really gives away free premium to Italians?

Traffic way up, revenue way down here. Everyone has blown their pay check on toilet paper.

What is the benefit for broadcasters to opt out the partners network so they don't appear on whitelabels?

% bigger for them when not affiliate's traffic ?

Geo block useless for model if on white label ?

I believe their share doesn't change weather a user is bound to an affiliate or not. It is CB %age that varies.

I also think this feature doesn't block affiliate traffic (you can still use CB links), it only hides them from whitelabels and blacklabels.

I don't think geo block is different : CB vs WL, after all whitelabels are subdomains of CB: xxxx.chaturbate.com

So I still don't see the real benefit for broadcasters to block whitelabels. There's even a warning beside the switch: "you will get less traffic".

Note: Geo block is a feature request CB should implement in their API: webmasters should be able to pass an IP address to retrieve a relevant JSON feed.

Interesting, what is it a trend of?

I am wondering, from your data sample can you see a User UID (last column) that shows up for more than one webmasters (presumably with a different User ID)?

Commissions for those 58 accounts.

I believe the last column is the transaction UID, as for User ID, havent checked, how would that even be possible, since an UID is attached to an account?

If the last column is a transaction UID then my comment is irrelevant.

But if "User UID" stands for "User Unique ID" then it would be possible to see a 1-n (1 to many) relationship between unique IDs and IDs.
It is my understanding that an affiliate is not bound to a user unique ID but rather to a username (a user can have several usernames), so movement of users could be demonstrated with your data if 1 UID shows up for more than 1 affiliates. Though 58 users is probably not enough and I think those user movements are caused by broadcasters with leaking affiliate links and you might not have those in your data sample.

That is useful, thanks for sharing.

EDIT: I don't think the last column is a transaction ID because each value would be unique. This is not the case.

Right this is a User UUID, and I don't save it in my tool, so can't know for sure

Yes it is. It's good to know.
If CB wanted to they could potentially link an affiliate to the UID to eradicate commissions theft. It is also good to know for data analysis.

One comment I have is that an average trend doesn't necessarily mean everything is fine: you could make sales from new customers and lose old customers to leaks in broadcasters bio for example. Meaning you should make more commissions which you are entitled to but you don't know it.

Eventually losing it all when sales reach a saturation point.

I would certainly hope the trending line goes up overtime if the incoming traffic remains steady in volume and quality (adding more paying customers and catching whales along the way).

This is what I experienced also, the last few days of the period brought it from a slower than normal to finishing about 20% above normal. The number of spends didn't really increase, but the average spend amount did.

I'm wondering if the trend will continue with so many people not working and spending time at home online because of the Corona scare. I think the huge increase in online time should at least mean traffic and registration numbers up, and ultimately higher revenue. Conversely, the loss of many people's incomes could potentially be the downside, with some spenders not having any discretionary income to blow on cams.

Iv done well with Chaturbate but with all the traffic leaks & models stealing years of peoples hard work, it would be silly to not start sending some traffic elsewhere. Truth is if they really cared about affiliates then the second this "clear cookies & create a new account just for me" bullshit happened they would have stopped it. Is it 2 years now we have been reporting it?. Actually stop and really think about how serious a problem that is. How much money and time has been spent by the whole adult industry sending people to chaturbate and its left to us to report models doing it to them? My earnings the past 2 months have went to shit and it could be the corona virus effecting things. Any time i feel like im hitting a nice regular income with them, something happens and things go to shit and this has been happening long before any virus. I know some of yous will still be raking it in with chaturbate but for me personally, im at the conclusion they will prioritise models over affiliates every time. Even when that involves them stealing our earnings

Brian mike 03-18-2020 05:54 AM

Cams.com ? Is that the company that use streamate WL?
I have absolutely no luck with Streamate since the last 4+ years income for me = 0

cams.com is streamray

streamate.com is a different sponsor I think and their models aren't the same. Their sites require users to enter credit card information to join, which can explain your low conversion rate.
