Muhammed Ali Joins The Pile Up On Trump...Or Does He?

I love Ali! His boxing style and especially his speaking style. The man had flair and his rhyming and "jiving" talk inspired entertainers all over the world (including pro wrestlers Dusty Rhodes and Superstar Graham).

Having heard him interviewed many times and having read some of the things he wrote...I found it interesting to see this:

Just read the "quotes" that are attributed to Ali. And then tell me if you think he actually said or wrote any of that. lol

Not saying he would agree with Trump IF he was even physically or mentally aware of the election at this stage of his life...but even when he was at the peak of his life he NEVER wrote or spoke in that manner.

That is 100% written by some professionals and put out by Ali's people. I doubt Ali even knows Trump is running for President.

Not sure if a person in that condition really pays attention to politics or not. I could be wrong...but I know for a fact that Muhammed Ali never spoke the way that the statement attributed to him and directed at Trump was worded.

Can't the media and the RNC just go after Trump without all this nonsense and obvious fake stuff? Isn't he an easy enough target without having to make shit up?

If you check out reports on Ali over the last year it has been reported over and over that he is unable to communicate at all. He can't speak or write because of the severity of his Parkinson's disease.

And even if he could write, he never wrote in that style.

I guess whoever his "handlers" are must have magically communicated with the man telepathically.

It's just disgusting to watch people exaggerate and outright lie about anything to do with Trump.

Why not just let the American people VOTE instead of trying to destroy people before the citizens have a chance to vote.

For instance this morning...I'm watching the CNN morning show. Andrew Cuomo is asking Don Lemmon about the interview he did with Trump. Both men are talking about how Trump clarified what he wanted to do and that he was not "anti-muslim" or racist in what he is thinking.

Meanwhile...as the two anchors are discussing that...underneath them in huge letters it read: "Trump Doubles Down On Anti-Muslim Rhetoric" !!!!

That's not "vetting" anybody. That's just plain out bullshit by the media.

As you are fully aware the news media has morphed over the years to what it is now. In the beginning of the TV era the news cost the networks money to produce. Over the years the networks kept trying to change the news production into a money making proposition...thus you now have today's news presentations...money makers. The bottom line for all of the networks now...is not to be objective reporters of the news...but to compete for the most viewers...by whatever means. The viewer has to weed through the "bullshit" which is todays vetting process. It is what it is.

You are missing his point about the press/media.

His point seems to be that he thinks Ali didn't make the statement. I get this from his final line in his opening post where he says...

Even if Robbie is trying to make the point that the press should have checked into if Ali really made the statement or is even vaguely aware of it is kind of a mute issue. When someone's press representative makes a statement, it's accepted as coming from their client. The press doesn't go to the source to get that information, they get it from their press representative. That's the entire point of having a press representative.

Robbie is just hurt that his childhood idol is bashing his candidate.

Ali obviously never said that. Its good copy and worth putting out there but Ali did not say that. I love the guy but his brain is pretty much scrambled eggs at this point in time.

You can see the mis-information and mis-characterization of the facts across all medias nowadays. Just today I saw numerous examples on: MSN, BBC, RT, Yahoo, The Guardian, etc...Walter Cronkite must be spinning in his grave.

That's why he was known as "The Most Trusted Man In America" back when he was the CBS News Anchor.
