As expected, Republicans in Congress have voted to do nothing but still, want their tax payer welfare checks for doing nothings.

It's pretty dumb of them to announce that today before Obama even leaks a shortlist of potential nominees much less actually has chosen a nominee. I love how they announce they will not even consider any nominee no matter who they are, but this isn't them being obstructionist.
I also enjoy how when asked, a few of the nominees have said if they were in this situation they would likely make a nominee and not just sit by and wait for the election. |

Article II, Section 2 of the constitution says: “[The President] shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint…Judges of the Supreme Court.”
Since Mitch McConnel is blocking Obama from fulfilling his constitutional duty, does that mean McConnell is breaking the law?
