But yesterday, just hours before The DAO was scheduled to open for business and begin taking project proposals, three blockchain researchers published an article outlining multiple flaws in the governance structure of the organization that they say could be used as vectors for attack. The researchers are asking everyone involved with The DAO to temporarily halt funding activities and fix the critical problems.

Just transferred the ether I had in https://www.myetherwallet.com/ to GDAX. GDAX was the coinbase exchange. I didn't take a good pic of my license, so I don't think I can buy ether there.

Still in pending after a few minutes.

Looks like scam to me. I looked at youtube videos for ethereum and they use many big words with no demos with what they are doing.

I believe we are close to doing good things with peer to peer, But these guys look too much like an alien space cult.

Ethereum has going for them is that you can use your coinbase account to buy ether. Sign up for coinbase, use my sig, then go to GDAX and you can trade ether or bitcoins

CoinBase dropped Bitcoin from their slogan last week, and the founder posted this on the CoinBase blog about Ethereum after doing so, saying it would "blow past bitcoin entirely" . . .

I just don't get it. "DAO", "Frontier", "smart contracts", "turing complete". Too many buzz words that nobody understands. If they said bitcoin, but faster and easier to interface with, They would have me.
