Did Americans ever get the Married With Children rude Joke?
One thing I often found funny was her family came from 'Wanker Country'.
I do not think in the USA the word wanker is rude. But in the UK it is very rude.

Wanker may not be super rude in the US but it still connotes a similar meaning. |

In Mork And Mindy, the landlord was called Arnold Wanker. Often referred to a 'A Wanker' when it came to paying rent

Yeah I'm sure it didn't go unnoticed. First 4 - 5 seasons of that show are some of the funniest television ever made.
