$3,580,000 GoFundMe record set for Orlando Pulse shooting victims

June 14 NEW YORK

A crowdfunding campaign to support the Orlando Pulse shooting victims and their families has pulled in more than $3 million.

Their charity has a "highly rated" status on charity navigator scoring 83.31. Funerals are their first priority.

They are working with the National Center for Victims of Crime, which deployed funds in both the Chattanooga and Aurora shootings, to distribute the contribution from our Pulse Victim Fund.

the money is supposed to be specifically for the victims and their families for any costs related to the matter.

I sincerely hope this is what happens.

The first $400K to $500K will pay burial costs for the dead.
Medical costs for the wounded and psychological assistance for the survivors will eat up the balance fast.

Nobody is getting a new TV or smartphone out of this -- get real

Thank you for all the donations -- so the surviving families and government doesn't get stuck with the whole cost.
