All-Electric Corvette hits 205 Miles per hour!

An All-Electric Corvette Just Went 205.6 MPH

Gotta love EV's. They make gas-powered cars look ancient.

I'll be impressed when a car like that can drive for more than 130 miles without battery going dead.

205 mph!

That's awesome.

It's also called stunting.

How much to replace the batteries when they're fried?

How far will it drive when it's -20c?

REad the article - it was built for speed, not range.

But if you want range, Tesla's get about 260 miles to a charge.

I clearly did read the article. That's why I was disappointed to see it can only go 130 mIles on a charge. The 2016 z06 will also do 205 mph.

Electric cars are in their infancy. I predict by 2026 they will be the norm until then their sales will grow as fossil fuels cars decline.

Some of you younger guys are so stuck in the mud it's amazing.

It probably will not be too long.

The main problem with electric cars is cost. The main cost and weight is the batteries.

Its why the american EV firm (teslor or whatever the name is) is very interesting as its building its own batteries.

Batteries is where if you were investing money, that would be the area.

You have with batteries:
  • Cost
  • Weight
  • Storage
  • Size

If you can fix any of those factors you have a game changer.

I see more and more electric cars on the roads each day.

The big problem in the UK is charging.

Unless you have a garage, then its going to be a pain.

Now if you live in a town or city such as London you may not even have the option to park outside your house. So charging your car is almost impossible.

We've got a charging station where we live for the whole community to use. 2 super charger ports and you just swipe your CC and plug it in. Very cool stuff for a small little community in the suburbs of NJ
