Presidential candidate?s foundation fined for pay-to-play scheme

LOL. Trump broke the law. And then lied about it.

Donald Trump paid the IRS a $2,500 penalty this year, an official at Trump?s company said, after it was revealed that Trump?s charitable foundation had violated tax laws by giving a political contribution to a campaign group connected to Florida?s attorney general.

In [its 2013] tax filings, The Post reported, the Trump Foundation did not notify the IRS of this political donation. Instead, Trump?s foundation listed a donation ? also for $25,000 ? to a Kansas charity with a name similar to that of Bondi?s political group. In fact, Trump?s foundation had not given the Kansas group any money.

The prohibited gift was, in effect, replaced with an innocent-sounding but nonexistent donation.

This just gets better and better!

What gets better and better is that idiots like you get all excited about this but totally bury your heads up your butts when it comes to recognizing that Clinton is sooooo much worse that Trump ever has or ever will be.

Keep believing what you're being spoonfed though. No one expects anything less from you.

Yes, I did get all excited. I got so excited that I immediately stripped off all of my clothes, inserted a butt plug with a tail on it into my ass, and then fapped in my back yard while my neighbors watched. I do this every time Trump gets caught breaking the law and has to pay another fine. Fap fap fap.

I just find it hilarious that everyone is accusing Clinton of being "crooked" and implying there is some "pay for play" while Trump is breaking the law and getting fined for it. Cracks me up every time.

Trump Bought $120,000 Luxury Trip With Trump Foundation Money At 2008 Charity Auction

Donald Trump bid on a dinner with Salma Hayek and a tour of the famed Chataeu Latour vineyard at a charity gala — but never went on the trip, according to an aide. Tax records show the donation was made by his foundation, not himself.

But Clinton is crooked one?

I don't think Clinton is all that, but Trump is just a piece of shit. And dirty as all hell.

And I disagree with this.

First, none of that money went into Clinton's pockets. It went to buy water for thirsty kinds in Africa, or condoms, or something.

On the other hand, we have yet to see any favors done for anyone. If a major bank called the State Department and asked for a meeting with an ambassador or someone else, it's handled on a case by case basis. If anything, we have proof of just the opposite - An aid of Bill Clinton contacted the State Department asking for special visas for a trip and was denied.

We have access to tens of thousands of emails and yet we still have no smoking gun. The Republican party has created the most vetted candidate in history - and there is zero evidence of any wrong doing.

If you seriously think the Clinton's have not received and/or will not receive any of that money for most likely generations to come you're completely delusional. Actual wealthy people use these sorts of things to dodge taxes and set their family up from then on. The Clinton's are doing the same only they weren't wealthy. They used it to get wealthy.

I never said that. What I am saying is so far we haven't found any smoking gun. No direct evidence. And of course, that means no charges.

Do I think the Clinton's have benefited from the Clinton Foundation? Of course they have. There are all kinds of perks - travel, hotels, expenses. I bet they even get a clothing allowance too. (I read yesterday that the email sever at the heart of this scandal was [wait for it!] PAID FOR with tax dollar money.) But there is nothing wrong with any of this; If you run a charity it's reasonable for them to pick up expenses for travel, food, etc.

I'm sure it is a tax dodge too. But it's all perfectly legal.

Maybe I'll watch it if I get time this weekend.

Or maybe not. I just watched a minute at random and they were talking about TD Bank and the Keystone Pipeline. From what little I saw TD Bank donated to the Clinton Foundation, and the TD investments wants to build the Keystone Pipeline. So I am guessing they are implying Clinton took her position on the Keystone Pipeline because of the donation? Is there any proof of this? We just read fifty thousand emails from the State Department - I'm sure the Keystone Pipeline was discussed, right?

This is more fucking bullshit. I am positive you can draw a line from TD Bank to two dozen other politicians, and it still doesn't prove anything. Every bank and every large company most likely gives to charities and political campaigns, and I would imagine a lot of them have some kind of dealings with Congress or what not or have an interest in some bill or law. But you cannot just draw an imaginary line from a company with their donation to a politician and assume there is something dirty there; You can do with every politician ever.

This is what politics has become - We draw imaginary lines to imaginary crimes with no proof. We investigated Benghazi NINE TIMES although there was nothing at all done wrong; We investigated her email server although we had no reason to believe there was any proof of anything done wrong.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot.... The democratic party is demanding an investigation into Trump and his connection with the Russian hackers that hacked the DNC. Is there any proof Trump was involved? No. Do we have a valid reason to think Trump is involved? No. Do we have the right to demand an investigation and read every email Trump has ever written in the past ten years? Of course not.

Why hasn't Congress demanded an investigation into how Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice handled their email servers?
