Following certain people from different forums?

Is it possible to automate this, to create a page with new posts (or just links to posts) whenever chosen users post and/or start a thread?

I used board tracker for this - not ideal but it worked - but for some reason it have been down for quite a time.

Need this for tailing betting tipsters from different forums.

Joking aside, bump for you as there must be something out there, this seems an easy thing to be able to do

Thank you for the bump. I took additional few hours looking for a possible solution but didn't find anything even close. I am closer to understanding how come a simple thing like Twitter is so popular.

Feed Rinse would work for forums that have RSS feeds enabled

Thank you, that's a nice tool but I checked a several forums and none of them has RSS for forum threads/posts. Same have feeds for news and such but that's all...

Google alerts are your friend. We use them for various purposes. Also, hashtags can be helpful.

following, like on twitter can be worthwhile, at least you can see where or what a person's doing and going.

How ever, to do this & link in a forum to follow their path must be much harder

So board tracker is dead? Many people used that tool in the past.
