If you think about it, Reddit is a similar type of site. They have celebs, politicians, and all kinds of different people on the site promoting things. There are subreddits for everything many with industry experts and leaders commenting in them and they have a huge amount of porn and nobody bats an eye.

You add an age verification process to the front of your porn site.

There are lots of them.

Has the law been passed so that verification process is acceptable?

Will it mean all traffic has to land on that entry point?

Not sure if it only applies to phones. How does it work on free sites and social media sites?

You are missing the point Paul.

You use your mobile handset to verify your age - then you get access to the titties on any device.

It does not matter if the site is free or paid - you dont get access until you have verified your age.

If the site owner does not put this in place they are blocked at ISP level and they lose their billing.
