You are only half right. I hope that you understand that the title was expressely polemical.

In the 30s and the 40s, nazis were not considered as conservatives at all. They were the progressists. National socialism was a brand new concept. They were supported by the german the intectual intelligentsia.

Now where I agree with you is that nowadays, the people who call themselves "progressives" are not progressive at all.

They are thought police that do not respect the democracy, detest people that do not agree with them and are ready to use violence to stop anyone in their way. And that I call fascism.

By the way, as you probably already know, nazis were socialists. Fascists were not.

I am not confusing that much and I think that we are not far from agreeing with each other. You are using the word "fascist" in its political signification. I am using it in its philosophical signification (like Hannah Arendt). That is were the confusion comes from.

I think that your mistake is that you are judging the nazi ideology with 2017 eyes when you label them as conservative.

First off - why is everyone trying to pass this off as something new?? This video is from March of 2016 and it was done the day after a Trump rally in Tucson where some people that raised their voices in protest were escorted out of the rally.

Granted there was violence - the protesters getting sucker punched.....by Trump supporters

And yes the media covered it from all angles the day it happened - stop trying to make this as "new" news
