Right before the raid in Yemen reported on January 28, 2017 AFB ... the plot thickens?

That didn't take long ...

Before you fly off the handle, all these rebel and terrorist forces are in oppositions to Assad and Putin. Should they win when that battle is over they will fight among themselves.

The new alliance, which is led by former heads of extremist militias Jabhat Fatah al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham, calls itself Tahrir al-Sham (Arabic for "liberation of Syria").

"In view of the plots shaking the Syrian revolution... we announce the dissolution of all groups mentioned below and their total merger into a new entity named 'Tahrir al-Sham'," the militants said in a statement quoted by AFP.

"Moderate rebels" do not exist. It was told to the US government many times, but Obama was too stupid to listen. There is a secular regime of Assad and there are radical Islamists on the other side.
