What do you guys think about using OAUTH2 for members areas?
Anyone using OAUTH2 for their member areas?
I was thinking it simplify a lot of the login process and make things easier on the users. Additionally, it would be much harder for people to crack passwords and you wouldn't have the worry about logins being shared. The downside is that they must have some kind of OAUTH2 account (Google, Twitter, Facebook). I think most people do but wondering if there are any other downsides. What are your thoughts? |

for a porn site?
some older dudes and less tech-savvy peeps are kinda leery of those sometimes, if it's not an already trusted site for them I think they'd be concerned about privacy and discretion as an option could be worth a try, but as the only means of access? personally I wouldn't

Yeah, I'm thinking as an additional option. Agreed that it shouldn't be the only means.
