PayPal making changes
Looks like PayPal is going to start charging more for their service. ( Just a small example of the changes)
We are changing the standard transaction fee for sellers selling goods or services online to buyers outside the U.S. from 3.9% to 4.4% plus the existing fixed fee based on the currency. We are changing the standard transaction fee for in store transactions received from buyers outside the U.S. from 3.7% to 4.2%. We are removing the tier based fees we charge to nonprofits who receive payments from senders outside the U.S. and are charging a flat rate of 3.7% plus the existing fixed fee based on the currency for all such transactions. We are changing the micropayment fees for in store transactions received from buyers outside the U.S. from 6.0% to 6.5% plus the existing fixed fee based on the currency. We are clarifying that we will assess the $20.00 chargeback processing fee for sellers who win a chargeback but are not eligible for Seller Protection. We are adding the ability to create a negative balance in your PayPal account when we reverse a payment to cover eBay buyer protection claims that the seller loses. We are updating the basic requirements for Seller Protection by requiring that you must respond to PayPal’s request for documentation and other information in a timely manner or you will not be eligible for Seller Protection. There is a ton of other stuff that may or may not effect you ? |

Yeah it's a HUGE change, if you really read it all it basically says "if we don't like what you are doing at all, we will just close your account and keep your money, no explanations needed." They targeted certain niches too, so I really wish all these traffic brokers would accept credit cards rather than always paypal or paxum. It's so inconvenient to have to use them, I mean keep em sure but like juicyads has all three options. I don't want to transfer money from a wire I get to paypal wait the days even though usually it's instant from my US bank account, it's still a middle man that charges 4% usually for nothing more than being in the middle. Like I'll buy 400 worth of testing traffic at a EU mainstream traffic company, I get charged 4 bucks per 100, so I'm already starting off 16 in the hole. Besides that, I don't want to immediately wire 500 or 1k to a new traffic source or niche I'm testing out, it might be a big loser and you're out the money instead of testing it with a few hundred first.

They aren't a bank but act like they do without any regulation of their practice

The internet is a contest to see who can make selling and working less profitable.
