People have been highjacking device cameras/microphones for years and Russia's been doing ransomewhere for years based on captured content.

It didn't begin with the CIA

I've had black tape on my phone & laptop cameras for years

- what the special hardware in those phones that enable cia to hack/spy on you ?

- an close attacker with wifi protocol knowledge can break into your network . he don't need to work with cia , it's hard for cia to work in every location.
